Reason for Designation: A former entrance lodge to Braunstone Park constructed in the early-20th century, possibly in 1911 when a new wing was added to Braunstone Hall. At this time, the hall and park where still under the ownership of the Winstanley family, who would have constructed the former entrance lodge to add status to the approach to the house.
